This is the new home for the WelshCaching mailing list, set up to help the Welsh Geocaching community keep in touch with each other and to inform of any relevant events or information that may be of interest to cachers based in Wales.
The list is open to all, but please keep disucussion within the list's original remit as much as possible.
To subscribe, simply fill in the subscription form found here. You'll be sent a confirmation email. Once you've confirmed, you'll be sent a welcome letter listing how to log into your admin page to make changes, unsubscribe etc.
Please note: once you've subscribed, you will receive all mailings sent by users to the mailing list except your own. This may cause initial confusion in giving the impression that the mailing list isn't working - it is, and others will be getting your messages.
Note: we've had some teething problems with some test posts to the mailing list. I think we've worked out what was causing the problem - if your email is bounced back as an unrecognised email, check to see that both the From: field and Sender: field (if it exists) are reporting your registered email address
Please note that the list currently only works with the welshcaching.co.uk domain but I hope to extend the functionality to cachingcymru.co.uk very soon.
Future expansion is dependant on what the community wants - let's see how this mailing list does and then take it from here!
